ProPitch App: A Powerful Pitch Management Tool Designed by Experts

The ProPitch app and portal is a sophisticated pitch management tool. When used in conjunction with a pitch assessment protocol, it allows the user to monitor the performance of a pitch not only for agronomic properties but also for player surface interactions. This industry-leading app can be used by ground staff and consultants to assess any pitch against benchmark data collected from hundreds of pitches and thousands of tests, and all scored using the ProPitch star rating system. We aim for a 5-star pitch; the ProPitch app is a tool to achieve that.

Modern demands on pitches mean that not only does the pitch need to look good, it needs to perform well too. Understanding what is going on with a pitch through regular testing and assessments is standard now for Clubs. ProPitch, at the top level of competition, will use a comprehensive 18-point assessment protocol for collecting data and benchmarking how a pitch is performing against a vast database of data previously gathered by our consultants. However, we are not all operating at the champions league level. There is an assessment protocol for every level of the game. Our app can even accommodate a customized approach. The portal used to host data builds a detailed picture of the variations occurring in the health of a pitch, mostly due to seasonal variation and use. It means early interventions are possible before a problem is deeply-rooted in a pitch, making solutions more cost-effective and less disruptive to operations. Consistently collecting data enables better-informed choices and allows time for the best solutions for any issues observed.

Our app was designed and built by ground care staff for ground care staff. This insider knowledge means the ProPitch app is intuitive and responsive to the information that the ground staff needs to know. The app sits on a responsive and robust platform, so navigating to the data is secure and easy.

Ground care staff from Clubs
Please do not ask us to list the clubs that use the app! We cannot. However, we can say that staff at major European and premier league clubs use both the app and portal to monitor pitches. Where authorized, we can provide a remote monitoring service, which means our consultants can use in-app messaging to discuss issues with our experts. Sharing data and photographs is an instantaneous process, saving time and money. 

Independent consultants
Independent consultants can use the app to remotely monitor training grounds working with local grounds care staff to make sure that things are going well with their facilities. Consultants can be monitoring many venues at the same time on a global footprint and interacting with local staff at the touch of a button.

Facility managers
Facility managers can download detailed reports to discuss ongoing maintenance of facilities and use this tool for budgets and planning maintenance interventions.
